Doha, September 10, 2026 : The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the illegal entry of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into Syrian territory and his crossing of international borders, describing the move as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic, a flagrant breach of international law, and a serious threat to regional security.

In a statement issued Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to take urgent action to ensure that the Israeli occupation complies with international law and relevant resolutions, particularly the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, and to halt its repeated attacks on Syrian territory to prevent further escalation and tensions in the region.

The Ministry reaffirmed Qatarโ€™s full support for Syriaโ€™s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, while expressing solidarity with the Syrian people in their pursuit of security, stability, and prosperity.
